We started Unit 7 in the text which looks at shape symetry and transformations. Specifically we looked at proportion and scale enlargements.

Bracketology
After a long look at linear equations (Unit 6), the class took two days (last Thursday and Friday) to examine the concept of probability as it pertains to the greatest amateur basketball tournament in the world...NCAA Div. I March Madness. Specifically we examined what biases could exist in the ranking system of the tournament and what effect ranking actually has on a probable outcome.
