Today we examined the concept of Rotation and Rotational Symmetry (unit 7.6).  Specifically, we looked at Order of Rotation and how it relates to Angle of Rotation.

Today we did questions 1-15 on page349-351. There will be a quiz tomorrow on similar polygons and similar triangles.

Today there was a homework check for yesterday's work and we continued to work on questions 8-17 on pages 341-342.

We looked at similar polygons and the importance of understanding corresponding angles and corresponding sides of similar polygons.

Quiz Tomorrow

Today we did some last review on scale enlargements and reductions. Tomorrow there will be a quiz on for these concepts. (Units 7.1 and 7.2)

Factors

We looked more into scale enlargements and reductions and how we multiply a factor to determine enlargement or reduction.
